CMK is the largest importer of diamonds in Indonesia, with a contribution of 90% of the total imports reported by BPS or USD 46.94 million. The limited supply of local diamonds requires CMK to import raw materials in the form of diamonds or precious stones from the best and responsible sources around the world. The import process is carried out responsibly.
Getting to know the customers is the main priority for all brands under CMK. In accordance with the provisions of the government of the Republic of Indonesia in Article 39 of Law No. 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering, CMK also has a duty to prevent money laundering by carrying out KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures for transactions with a certain value.
CMK cooperates with 3 (three) largest and most responsible diamond mines in the world, ensuring that the diamonds used in every form of jewelry are natural diamonds that come from mines that are responsible for the welfare of their workers and the environment.
This commitment is proven by re-checking every diamond received before it is used in the production process in CMK Lab, located at CMK Studio, equipped with the latest technology equipment which is one of the biggest investments of CMK.
We are able to create various subsidiaries focusing on the different value chains for our customers. With full ecosystem of gold and diamond supply chain, our subsidiaries range through our in-house processes; from ideation and design to end products that are distributed to our stores.
